§ 5-13. Surrender of animal to Department Manager; interference with Department Manager in performance of duty.

It is unlawful for any person to refuse to surrender an animal upon lawful demand by the Department Manager or his authorized assistant. It is unlawful for any person to attempt to take any animal from the custody of the Department Manager or his assistant or to attempt to take any animal from a City pound without permission of the Department Manager or his assistant in the performance of his duties under this chapter.
