§ 2-103. Plan established.

The City of Marathon, Florida, hereby establishes a defined benefit plan for the city's full-time firefighters to be known as the "Retirement Plan and Trust for the Firefighters of the City of Marathon, Florida" ("local law plan") in accordance with F.S. ch. 175. The local law plan shall provide retirement, death, and disability benefits as set forth in the "Florida Municipal Pension Trust Fund Defined Benefit Plan Document, dated November 20, 2003" as amended by the adoption agreement, copies of which are attached as exhibit A.
