Within 30 days of a determination by the TRC that the petition for abandonment is
competent for review by the City Council, the City shall cause the petitioner to publish
a notice of intent in a newspaper of general circulation in the City once weekly for
two (2) consecutive weeks, pursuant to the notice requirements of Fla. Stat. ch. 166,
and Chapter 102, Article 2 of the LDRs. Such notice of intent shall state the intent of the City
to consider the petition pursuant to this article and, in the case of plat abandonment,
or any portion thereof, Fla. Stat. ch. 177.
